King Charles is willing to come for a one-on-one meeting with Prince Harry during his planned visit to the UK for the Invictus Games. However, his excitement has toned down when speaking about Meghan Markle. Whereas Harry will return to the UK in a while, Meghan will be staying in California with their kids.

According to The Daily Mirror, her presence may distract from the event they are attending. And it is widely believed that King Charles, who holds traditional views, is likely to exclude Meghan out of fear that her very presence could overshadow the entire event's message.

Fitzwilliams shared: "The King has left the door ajar to Harry, but a welcoming reception is hardly in the offing." He underlined how there was a long way to reach reconciliation, not just with the past but also in light of developments. In December, he told The Sun: "There's still a long way to go before he can bring Meghan and the children to the UK.".

Prince Harry is expected to make his first visit to the UK since Kate Middleton's cancer was revealed at the May Invictus Games. We have not disclosed the details of his meetings with Kate, Prince William, or King Charles.

According to Express, Harry will read at St. Paul's Cathedral on May 8, with his attendance confirmed; of course, there is no word yet on other royal family members Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, attending.
